Imaging Compatibility

Compass Pro’s SaaS platform supports both clinical imaging (DICOM/PACS) and administrative document capture via Dynamic Web TWAIN. All imaging data is securely stored in the Compass Pro cloud, with role-based access for staff.

Clinical Imaging

• DICOM/PACS integration for radiology, orthodontics, and dental imaging.
• HL7/FHIR standards for EMR/EHR interoperability.
• Cloud viewer for annotation, measurement, and collaboration.
• Accessible from desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

Document Capture via Dynamic Web TWAIN

• Direct TWAIN/WIA/ICA/SANE scanning is supported on Windows/macOS/Linux with the Dynamsoft Service installed.
• On Chromebooks/Android/iOS, scanning is supported via:
  • Device cameras (for IDs/forms).
  • Uploading pre-scanned files (JPEG, PDF, TIFF, PNG) from network/cloud scanners.

Security

• All imaging workflows are protected with TLS 1.2+ and AES-256 encryption.
• Audit logs ensure full HIPAA/PIPEDA/GDPR compliance.
• Local cache is cleared automatically after uploads.

Compass Pro ensures that every device can view and manage images — desktops for scanning, tablets/Chromebooks/iPads for review, annotation, and upload.
