Everything you need to know about getting started, managing your practice, and keeping data secure with Compass Pro.
Yes. We offer a 12-month Pilot Program where selected practices use Compass Pro free of charge, with no obligation to purchase. It’s your chance to explore the platform, test features, and share feedback. After the pilot, you can choose the plan that fits.
After you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome email with a secure link to create your administrator account. From there you can:
Compass Pro is fully cloud-based. All you need is a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari — latest versions), an internet connection (5 Mbps+ recommended for video), and for mobile, any current iOS or Android device. No local servers or special installs required.
Yes. Selected practices can use Compass Pro for 12 months with no platform subscription fee during the pilot period. Third-party costs, optional integrations, hardware, data migration, data cleanup, and other services outside the standard pilot scope are not included.
Applications must be submitted by September 1, 2026. However, enrollment may close earlier if all 5 pilot spots are filled.
Only the first 5 accepted applicants will receive access to the Compass Pro Pilot Program.
No. Because the program is limited, applications are reviewed based on fit, readiness, practice needs, and available onboarding capacity.
No. A credit card is not required to apply or enroll in the pilot.
No. There is no purchase obligation after the pilot period ends.
At the end of the pilot, your practice can decide whether to continue with Compass Pro. If you choose to move forward and need services such as existing data migration, patient record merging, custom setup, or integrations, those services may require a separate paid scope of work.
Full migration, cleanup, merging, or import of existing patient information from another system is not automatically included in the pilot. These services may require paid work because they depend on the condition, format, and complexity of the data.
The program is designed for dental clinics, orthodontic practices, growing practices, new practices, and multi-location teams that want to evaluate cloud-based practice management software in a practical, supported way.
Pilot access may include scheduling, patient records, billing, documents, communication, reporting, analytics, and other available Compass Pro modules based on your practice needs and pilot setup. Some functional limitations may apply during the pilot.
Yes. Orthodontic practices are encouraged to apply, especially if they want to help shape workflows for long-term treatment management, recurring appointments, treatment coordination, and specialty documentation.
Yes. Multi-location practices may be a strong fit if they need better visibility across scheduling, operations, reporting, and team workflows.
We ask for practical feedback about usability, workflows, terminology, reports, configuration, training, and feature priorities. Feedback is usually collected through brief check-ins and structured discussions.
Yes. Your practice owns its data, and export options are available.
A detailed Pilot Program Limitations page provides applicants with an understanding of what is included, what is not included, and what may require separate paid work.
Complete the Pilot Program application form before September 1, 2026. If your practice is selected and one of the 5 pilot spots is still available, our team will contact you to schedule the next step.
Yes. Compass Pro uses role-based access control (RBAC). Administrators define roles — reception, clinician, manager — and choose which data and tools each role can access, keeping sensitive information secure.
Administrators go to Settings → User Management to invite staff via email, assign roles, and adjust permissions. Removing a user is as simple as deactivating their account — all historical records stay intact for audit purposes.
Yes. Compass Pro is designed to meet HIPAA, PIPEDA, and GDPR standards. All data is encrypted (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit), audit trails are maintained, and role-based access enforces least-privilege.
Yes. Patients log into a secure Patient Portal to view medical history, upcoming appointments, invoices, and documents. Your practice controls exactly what information is visible.
Add a patient manually from the Patient Management dashboard, or import many at once via CSV. Each record includes demographics, medical history, contact preferences, and insurance details.
Patients (via the portal) or staff (via the dashboard) can cancel or reschedule. The slot reopens automatically, both sides receive updated confirmations, and your cancellation rules — fees, cut-off times — apply as configured.
Yes. Compass Pro syncs with major calendar systems including Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, so providers and staff keep schedules aligned across platforms.
Yes. Reminders go out via email, SMS, or eFax. You control the timing (e.g. 48 or 24 hours before) and message templates to cut down on no-shows.
Dental costs scale with patient records and imaging, not logins. A hygienist login costs nothing — CBCT scans do. Pricing by patients is fairer and prevents surprise overages.
Nothing breaks. You simply add a storage pack — +1 TB for $49/mo or +5 TB for $199/mo. No forced upgrades, no data throttling.
Enterprise clients differ massively in imaging volume, integrations, automation, and SLA needs. Custom pricing means you pay for what you actually use — not a bloated bundle.
Your data stays active while you’re a customer. If you leave, it’s retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted — no hostage data, no hidden archive fees.
There is no cost to submit a Partnership Request.
Any program-specific obligations or business expenses will be discussed before an applicant signs a partner agreement.
Compass Pro intends to offer compensation for eligible opportunities under approved Referral Partner and Authorized Sales Partner arrangements.
The exact compensation structure depends on the program, the partner’s responsibilities, and the applicable written agreement.
Partner roles and responsibilities can differ significantly. A professional making an introduction does not have the same responsibilities as a sales partner developing and supporting an opportunity.
Qualified applicants receive the relevant compensation details, eligibility rules, and payment terms before deciding whether to proceed.
No. Submitting a Partnership Request begins the review process but does not create a partnership, agency, employment relationship, exclusivity arrangement, or right to compensation.
A partnership begins only after approval and the signing of the applicable written agreement.
Compass Pro can conduct or support product demonstrations.
Authorized Sales Partners may participate in demonstrations after completing the applicable product and sales training.
Compass Pro manages the software onboarding, implementation process, and ongoing product support unless a written strategic agreement establishes a different arrangement.
Approved partners receive access to the applicable referral or opportunity-registration process.
An opportunity generally needs to be registered and accepted by Compass Pro before it becomes eligible for partner compensation.
Existing customers, active Compass Pro prospects, duplicate submissions, and previously registered opportunities may not qualify as new partner opportunities.
The applicable Partner Program Guide and agreement explain how these situations are handled.
Partner arrangements are generally evaluated individually. Potential conflicts, directly competing products, and disclosure requirements will be discussed during qualification.
Any exclusivity requirement would need to be expressly included in a written agreement.
Referral Partners are not expected to conduct a complete sales process.
Authorized Sales Partner expectations may depend on the market, territory, and commercial arrangement. Any performance requirements will be disclosed before the partner agreement is signed.
Yes. Individuals, independent professionals, businesses, associations, and other organizations may submit a Partnership Request.
Compass Pro is currently focused on dental and orthodontic practice opportunities in Canada and selected North American markets.
Professionals and organizations in other regions may also submit a request to discuss future market-development opportunities.
